Development of our junior section plays a huge part in our achievements, and is one that we wish to continue.
Durbanville will once again be holding a Mini Hockey coaching clinic every Friday night at the club. All of our club coaches will be running sessions to give yo
ur child the best start to their hockey game. Members of the club, who already coach school teams or aim to coach school teams in the future, will assist with the practices. They will also be graded for their Level 1 coaching certificate by our Chairman and Level 1 facilitator, Geoff Matthews.
For Goalkeepers, we have our ladies 1st team and our men’s 2nd team goalkeeper giving private lessons upon request (during the Friday night sessions). Each child will be evaluated twice, halfway through the season, and at the end. Players will receive a comprehensive breakdown of their evaluation at the end of the year.
Age 4 - 10 from 18:00 - 19:00
Age 11 - 14 from 19:00 - 20:00
Cost for the season – R300 per player (including the 2010 Mini hockey shirt)

Sessions will run every Friday from 16 April until 4 June and then from 16 July (not on 6 August) until the Awards evening on 10 September 2010 (a total of 16 practice sessions)
